This hire has the barners talking national championship and Heisman for Nix next season. I guess more players will join Nix and Seth Williams in doing the Heisman pose anyway, LOL. So...not long ago, they were fretting because they are losing so much from both the offensive line and that defense that they had this season is absolutely gone, top to bottom. But, now the hiring of the former Arkansas head coach (who never won an SEC game) as their new OC has shot the expectations through the roof for next season? I guess they have forgotten that this will be their third OC in 5 seasons. How well did the others do under Gus? Lashley was thrown under the bus after the whole Jeremy Johnson/Sean White/John Franklin III fiasco. However, he has done quite well since he bailed out of that dysfunctional mess. He has actually shown what he can do when not handcuffed. Chip Lindsay stayed two years and would have taken the OC job at Kansas had the Troy job not opened up. Dillingham stayed a year and jumped ship at the first opportunity. But, somehow, Morris is going to be the savior and turn Nix into the next Cam Newton that he was touted as. Not to mention, the broken old bus already said that he wasn't ever giving up play calling again. So, what is that saying for Morris? Will he be yet another nonentity?
