šŸ“” Chad Morris lands at Auburn (offensive coordinator.)

With respect I have to disagree. The question is will Guz grant the guy the ability to run the show. Chad moved over one seat too many from OC to HC. "It happens"...……..Forrest Gump.
Again, it's a bad hire. You have two coaches who share same offense philosophy.... Gus was calling the plays last year, you mean to tell me that he's going to give that up to Chad and let him run the show 100 percent? You mean to tell me a high school coach who went to Tulsa and then Clemson before becoming a HC is going to make a difference?

his record as HC is 18-40.

Doubt Chad will make a difference.

1 year max! Malzahn isn't going to turn over play calling duties. He is too much of an egotistical asshole to do that. Morris utilized TEs last year at Arky and then went total dumbass. Barn doesn't even have a TE on roster do they?

They have tight ends but use em more like blocking backs/fullbacks.

You talking about the team that hung 48 on us with a freshmen QB?

Chad got out of his chair from an OC to a HC. He did a great job for Dabo at Clemson.

It was cool watching that freshman QB with those two pick sixes.

34 was still too much to give up but the ebb and flow of the game changed with those turnovers. Anything we sustained on a long possession was usually blown up by stupid ass penalties and turnovers. Sorry, I think we just killed ourselves more than Gus was able to out-coach anyone. Chad Morris didn't bring anything to the table at Clemson that hasn't been used since he left which tells me Dabo controls that offense, a lot!

@TerryP , can we add a dripping sarcasm emoji on here? If it’s here, point me in the right direction.
I've said that a few times ... there are issues with consistency across platforms. IE: Do you have one on your phone? f you did I could based all the emoji's on native devices (but that comes with issues because a lot of people don't know how to use the emoji features included in their browsers.) Twitter doesn't offer that option through Twitter emoji which would be one of the first places I'd go because it's open source. JoyPixel may have one but their packages start at $100 and run all the way up to $1300 or so.

All that said it could be done manually but I'm not getting into the point(s) it requires work in Python and .json ... both areas where I'm not even at a novice level.

TMI, right?

FWIW, commonly used around sites I've been looking at the last few minutes is this one. šŸ™ƒ Its markdown code is = If used once it'll appear at the top of your selections until it fades out of rotation.

@UAgrad93, all that said...now I have an idea...but I am not sure how I can render what I'm after. It's on the ever growing, proverbial, "to do list."

Oh Gawd he cries!

This hire has the barners talking national championship and Heisman for Nix next season. I guess more players will join Nix and Seth Williams in doing the Heisman pose anyway, LOL. So...not long ago, they were fretting because they are losing so much from both the offensive line and that defense that they had this season is absolutely gone, top to bottom. But, now the hiring of the former Arkansas head coach (who never won an SEC game) as their new OC has shot the expectations through the roof for next season? I guess they have forgotten that this will be their third OC in 5 seasons. How well did the others do under Gus? Lashley was thrown under the bus after the whole Jeremy Johnson/Sean White/John Franklin III fiasco. However, he has done quite well since he bailed out of that dysfunctional mess. He has actually shown what he can do when not handcuffed. Chip Lindsay stayed two years and would have taken the OC job at Kansas had the Troy job not opened up. Dillingham stayed a year and jumped ship at the first opportunity. But, somehow, Morris is going to be the savior and turn Nix into the next Cam Newton that he was touted as. Not to mention, the broken old bus already said that he wasn't ever giving up play calling again. So, what is that saying for Morris? Will he be yet another nonentity?

They hung 48 points because Our defense couldn't get off the field at all. We had too many busted assignments... poor tackling... Look at who Auburn played against this season... and then we come to Auburn and they hung 48 points on us. It wasn't because of their offense, it was because of horrible defense we played that day.

We've all acknowledged that the defense sucks - you included - so I don't know what you're getting at here. And their offense hung 35 on Alabama's defense, unless you think giving the offense credit for a pair of pick six's makes sense somehow.
