FWIW, the umpires blew the call on that one, it should have been ruled a DP.

Similar as runner sliding to take out the SS or 2nd baseman in an attempt to break up the double play, but they don’t slide into the bag, rather, they slide into the player.

Absolutely. Or disrupt throw ( grabbing players arm or glove...or deflecting ball). Guess i knew that.

I couldn't recall the one thread where I made fun of that guy wearing a glove to interfere with those homeruns. Well, I'm at the Homerun Derby right now with no glove and possibly gonna test how tough I am. O'Neal Cruz testing whether or not I'm even gonna use my hand with those rockets he was hitting. 513 ft!!!

I've got it on in the background while working on some stuff... thought you might be there. Those are some good Derby seats! I'm sure that Zach Hample kid is around somewhere, just push him down some steps take one from him if you don't catch one.
