šŸˆ Big 10 just keeps trying

The caveat of being in the top six ranked teams makes it something to look at a little deeper. Wisconsin, their conference champ last year, wouldn't have received an invite.

That's after week 15. The only thing that would have changed last season is Oregon would be in, Stanford out.

In 2010, it would have benefited Ohio State and the Big-10.

And there's your controversy. A one loss Ohio State would get in over an undefeated TCU.

I could deal with this better than I could winning your conference being required. Still don't like it very much, but it is a little better.

Perlman said the "highest priority" is "to preserve the status of the Rose Bowl and our connection to it."

And this last statement is the one that keeps topping everything to me. This is so ridiculous in my opinion.

Also interesting to note, in the last two years, Stanford (at #4 in the BCS) would have been leaped by lower teams. Wonder how the Pac 10 feels about that?

In 2008, both Texas and Alabama (at #3 and #4) would have been bypassed in favor of #5 USC and #6 Utah.

Also, at no time in the last 5 years would the Big 10 have been bypassed.

Just leave it the way it is. I’ve never understood why Bama fans want to change things. Under the Bowl system and the BCS we’ve endedup with plenty of trophies in the trophy case. I’m not seeing the problem.
