šŸˆ Bedlam Series b/w Oklahoma & Oklahoma State is done when OU joins SEC, both ADs told @ActionNetworkHQ .

Don’t know why this couldn’t be the final game during rivalry week. UGA vs GA Tech, Clemson vs S Carolina, Kentucky vs Louisville are all inter conference rivalries.
James Franklin made the comment this week that Penn State isn't going to seek out good P5 schools for home and home series any longer. Playing teams like Auburn just isn't worth the cost long term and it's easily replaced by a G5 school.

Why should OU schedule a team like OSU? They dominated the series, but a win against Tulsa is just as good.

I strongly suspect we'll see a lot of teams canceling future series. There's little reason to play them in a nine game conference schedule.

Based on the new college football, you're right. Based on the history of college football, the game means a lot to the state of Oklahoma, just like Alabama/Auburn, Georgia/Georgia Tech, Clemson/South Carolina, Florida/Florida State. It's a rivalry and what alumni, fans from the state, and players look forward to. So it means a ton to so many people, just not necesssrily the money men and executives.

True ...so true...
But meaning a lot...and meaning more $ ....are different things...

There is never enough....until the goose is cut open to get more golden eggs...

The rivalries are what make sport...thats why stadiums are full for those games...
When a time when stadiums arent ever full anymore
