🏀 GAME THREAD 🏀 SEC / NCAA Games of the Week: --

Auburn, Texas, and LSU are all 0-2 in SEC play. Who, or how many, of the three will find themselves related to a Thursday tip in the tournament before the end of January? Are we looking at three teams we'll see play Wednesday?

(It's the 11th through the 15th. I'm assuming the tourney will be set up like it has been with the top four getting byes until Friday.)

Hotheaded loud mouth has entered the find out stage.

Troll account.

He did the same type of post on X in March after UCONN lost to UF in the tournament. He said basically the same thing about Hurley (tirade.) That troll involved the NCAA and Raleigh PD investigating Hurley.

There was also something with little Pitino. I can't remember what that story entailed other than linking him to a job. It was BS as well.

I normally don't bet basketball. I'm having a real hard time walking away from Auburn -1.5 vs UArk ... even at Auburn.

Carnage alert. Vandy -14.5 hosting LSU.

Taking auburn or laying it on Arkansas? I'd bet on Arkansas to cover, which means they'll lose lol
UArk. I'm not touching that one. I'm not saying it's wrong. I'm saying it looks really weird.

Analytically, there's a "but" on just about everything that favors one over the other. IE: UArk better with TO's, AU better on the boards. AU has a higher 3pt rate but lower percentage than UArk favoring UArk. AU is at the line more (combine that with a home game.)

At a glance it looks like the best two teams in the conference will be in the worst two games (competitively) today.

One of those things about this sport I have never quite understood is raising its head today.

If you get hit with targeting in football you miss the first half of the next game. If you get ejected for throwing an elbow in a basketball game, unless the conference suspends you, you are good to go.

It seems to me UGA should be without their 'big,' at least for a half today.

OKAY! The last thing about the Auburn and Tex A&M. I thought our little brother won this game on a buzzer beater?

The way things look now, they seem to be on a collision course with Arizona. We all know that it's still unlikely with how the NCAAT is set up + potential upsets, but still...what a game that would be. I think Michigan looks better overall right now, but you do wonder if they're peaking early.

They won't get tested in conference likely until they host Nebraska at the end of the month. Then they play at Michigan State (that'll be a fun atmosphere), then their next big conference test is at Purdue February 17th. Right after that, they play Duke.
And, Whiskey takes Michigan…
