auburn's 3 point defense is really good, even so, I thought Bama had some good looks and just missed. Bama was seeing ghosts in the lane and missed more bunnies than I could count, but again, that is a by product to a degree of auburn's defense. They are tough as hell at the basket... but, today they really didn't seem as good as normal. I think Broome was protecting his shoulder some, but just his mere presence made out guys alter their shots/layups and it let to misses. Overall, I don't think Bama's defense was all that bad... bad moments yes, but auburn made some tough shots and were just flat out hot, especially starting both halves. One last thing, for whatever reason, Bama just hasn't played great at home this season. Not sure why. Example: From 3, they are shooting 30.7% at home. They are shooting 37.5% on the road. 30.7% would put them 315th in the nation from 3. 37.5% would put them 28th. The good news? The tournament games are all on the road...............
