Saban and the boys have played some incredible football the first half of the season. Hopefully, this Saturday they will start to really dominate their opponents. I'd like to see us beat Ole Miss by three TDs to begin the second half of the year.
Bama's done its part to position itself at #2, but we've had a lot of luck as well. UGA didn't seize their moment while ranked #1. Neither did USC nor OU. And last week, three of the top four fell, helping us cement our standing as a firm #2.
It's not often (if ever) that a team that's ranked #24 in one poll and unranked in the other in August stands at the edge of greatness the third week of October, with its destiny in its own hands. I think our team knows what it takes. I know our HC does.
