I'm finally admitting to myself, they're really not very good. I too think they'll still win a few games. The SEC is also, not very good. Twelve conference wins, and a win the SEC Tourney might give them 19 if the Tide is fortunate before conference play. If they don't beat Xavier and UCLA, hello NIT. Twelve conference wins is ambitious. Less than ten and it's "see ya' next season".

Ambitious? Interesting word choice.

What do we have? Once vs UK, and two games versus UF and Mizzou? Your 12 number gives one more game they can drop if we assume they drop those five.

(Just our luck Miss. State has been struggling the last few years and we get them once. Once for LSU as well and I've always enjoyed those series.)
