Wow... Not to be a jerk or anything but seriously?? Robert Lester will not be drafted in the first round. Are we not talking about the same guy who was BATTLING Will Lowery for the starting role at the end of last fall? Sure he had a good year (interception wise) but first round NFL material? Hardly! Kerry Murphy?? Isn't there question whether he will ever play again? (bad knees)? Nico Johnson... meh this would be a huge homer stretch IMO as he is not even a true starter on this team. He is really good and will likely be even better this year but we are talking about the NFL here. Dre top 10??? Huh? Honestly Dre is pretty good, has good size but can anyone really say that he has lived up to the hype? I think he could if he would grow up a little, but who knows maybe he looks like Peterson this year and I will eat some crow.

Overall there MAY be 4 go in the first round of the 2012 draft... Upshaw, Hightower, Dre and Barron.

2nd, most of this list is very random so take it for what it is.
3rd, Dre has been ranked in the top 10 from several different sites. and "hasnt lived up to the hype", dude was a starter and our best corner as a TRUE SOPHOMORE. what did u want? a shutdown corner from the first time he stepped foot on campus?

a starter and best corner in comparison too?? Oh in comparison to a true freshman that played safety his entire high school career or the corner with the torn Achilles? Look I said above that Dre was good, but when you come in as the #1 corner is the nation and get a year to sit behind two NFL corners and learn, expectations may be a little high. But I will ask this.. Will he or should he be a top 10 pick if he is not a shut down corner?

I read this wrong thinking Murphy was being mentioned as those who might go in the 1st round.

The only position group listed below where at least one member of the Crimson Tide defense does not appear is defensive end. Rising juniors Kerry Murphy and Damion Square are also likely to be on the scouting radar in 2012 or '13 as five-technique ends for teams running schemes similar to Saban's 3-4.

I never heard anything about Lester not being the starter or struggling to be the starter. I was under the impression he had it locked up after the spring last year...

In comparison to every corner on the team last year... Dude was our best corner and was a 1st year starter... I dont care what rank you are in HIGH SCHOOl... And Patrick Peterson wasn't a "shut down corner" at LSU by any means, unless u consider North Carolina torching him or Julio Jones beating him up for 3 years a "shut down" corner... He went #6... That's not to say that Dre wont BECOME a shut down corner either... He has ALL the tools and supposedly the drive....

It was pretty clear after they had Courtney listed as an Inside Linebacker that he really didnt have a clue what he was talking about...
