Yeah, certainly not limited to LSU and Arky... I just use them as examples because their financial support for baseball isn't new and isn't wavering. UGA has made a substantial financial commitment to baseball too, which is something I would have considered unlikely 2 years ago. They are even a player for Alton Davis, though that's not all about money I'm told (though he can pretty much pick his team... LSU, MSU, etc.).

I'm not suggesting a team should have to stay in the old Masters Inn on McFarland. I am saying it's a little ridiculous to put them up in a place like The Capstone.
Well, less likely to get food poisoned off their fettuccine alfredo...

I wouldn't qualify this as surprising or anything, but that doesn't make it any less important. Losing Adams would have been a massive blow.

Potential, but replaceable.
Really hard to replace the potential though. But, I think it is more than fair to say that Wes Johnson is much more likely to help him tap into it than Jackson was.

Pitcher from GaTech. He’ll be a senior next season. He was a weekend starter for the Jackets... 6-4 record, 75 IP, 80 K's, 20 BB... (did give up 19 HR's, which isn't ideal).

Catcher - Nathan Cmeyla
He will be a grad student next season, transferring in from Dartmouth. He started 37 games, hit .350, .403 OBP, 12 doubles, 7 HR's, 10 B, 17 K. He did make 9 errors on defense... gotta get that cleaned up. Hopefully his pitch framing metrics make up for some of that. And his arm... maybe?

OF Bryce Fowler (Pearl River CC) - He will be a Jr. next season. Check the #'s at the bottom... 1:1 BB:K rate, .419 avg, and 24 SB's. Will likely slide into leadoff to replace Miller (a previous JUCO get). If his bat translates anything close to Miller's (a very big ask)... and factoring in his speed... then Bama will be sitting pretty at the top of the order...

LSU So. Brady Neal... He will be a Jr. next year and fill a big need at catcher. He was drafted out of HS in the 17th round y the Brewers, but decided to go to LSU instead. Good pickup here...
A very high K rate, but if he can do some other things, especially defensively, to make up for that... it would be nice.

This is NOT a prediction... but man I wish Bama would (could) go back into the Ole Miss well this summer and snatch him up...
Bama adds a bullpen arm... RHP Trent Hodgdon. He's played at SC Upstate and West Virginia but is originally from Smiths Station, AL. He will be a Senior next season for Alabama...
