Hi,

I'm a new poster but long time Bama fan.

I currently live in Illinois and will most likely not be able to make it down to Tuscaloosa for a game this season but were looking at heading to Lexington to see Bama at Kentucky. Much less of a drive.

Does anyone have any experience at Kentucky's stadium/lexington in general?

I've never been to an away game, should we look for tickets in any specific section or just sit wherever?

any general thoughts/ do's and dont's would be appreciated.

Thanks

It's been a few years since I was there. But, when I was, the tickets were easily had. I saw most of the people selling them on the main entrance to the stadium.

Parking lots surround 3/4ths of the stadium and seeing people selling tickets was commonplace.

BUT, it was the season that UK only won two or three games.

I had a enjoyable experience. But, again, considering the season they were having...

They have a forum you can get some pretty good information from. You'll have to google this to get the full url, but it was titled wildcatmania.

I'm heading to Kentucky too. This is one of 3 SEC stadiums that I haven't been to so I'm looking forward to marking it off my list. If the Kentucky game is anything like Vanderbilt, Miss St, Ole Miss, or Arkansas there will be plenty of tickets for sale and it probably won't matter what section you are in because there will be bama fans all over the place. I bet $75 you can buy a ticket easily and if you shop around you can probably get one for $50. Good luck.
