It will be very interesting to see who leaves next year. I have a sneaky feeling some of the names will surprise us because of the talent that is being stock piled. I don't know any inside info just a feeling I have. What do you guys think?

Probably best to leave off names (even if guessing), but there will be some attrition obviously... and there always is to an extent. Players going to the NFL early, transfers, medicals, etc...

Yeah, Porter I didnt want names mentioned I do think we will see some like you said. How many of those may be transfers, or do you even care to guess?

I went through our roster earlier in the season when it became apparent that we were going to take a full recruiting class this year. I don't really feel that we have what we want in a "2nd receiver", but besides that I feel that there is a real log-jam at WR. Defensive line is becoming the same way...as well as the RB position when Trent shows up on campus...go ahead and throw CB in that category as well.

It's amazing how, when Saban got here, many positions that were weak points for our team have quickly turned in to the strengths of our team. We're going to have to work hard this offseason if we want to continue the success of this season. We're losing a lot on our OL...and I think that is going to be the toughest part of our team to replenish, but we are certainly building towards becoming a team that reloads year after year instead of rebuilding every 3 years.

I see some attrition at the RB position for sure.
Coffee
Ingram
Upchurch
Grant
Goode
Matchett
Griffin
Richardson
Someone is going to be left out of that stable, IMO.

Upchurch will have surgery, no doubt. If his neck spasms are eliminated, then he'll be no. 3 or 4.

This is my mock roster for RB next season:
Coffee
Ingram
Richardson
Goode
Grant
Matchett

Griffin is more of a FB than a RB IMO. Grant would be higher due to experience, but CNS's new RB system is more North,South. Rosters don't matter with Saban anymore, since his philosophy of whoever plays will be the best of the group. :D
