Wow!! My old man was a HS basketball official for 44 years and I grew up going to a lot of those games before I started playing it myself. Pops would’ve cut down on that whistle in a heartbeat.
Problem is, old boy under the basket, looking dead at the play, had already started counting those $$$$. Swallowed that whistle and let the home team win.
