cant recall the 4th back they used. #45??
is he an upperclassmen getting some time ala "rudy"? Goode hurt? In trouble?

just wondering, scanned all the threads to see if it has been mentioned already

i think Goode played a little, the other guy is Jalston Fowler. was hard to tell when watching on espn360.

maybe someone who got to watch it on tv can speak up.

Fowler actually looked good considering he has practiced at LB all camp. may be useful in some short yardage situation.

Fowler did look big and strong. Can you imagine first team defenders going against Ingram, Richardson, Lacy, and maybe Goode for three quarters, then Alabama trotting out Fowler at the end of the game. It has to be demoralizing...

Fowler did look stout. Makes you wonder what he would look like running behind our 1st team O line.

I don't know if Fowler would have the speed to get out of the backfield quick enough following a hand off. He'd always be getting hit first a yard deep, then again at the LOS. He's not like Ingram or Richardson, who both usually have good speed built up before they ever take a hit.

On Richardson...Is it just me, or does that kid go LOOKING for someone to hit when he gets the ball? Man, it looks like he wants someone to come try and tackle him, usually fail, and then resume his run to the end zone. Ingram just hits the hole so quickly you don't even get the chance.

That Duke game was like a track meet for our guys.
