On the way the other guy handled the combine, his interviews with teams, etc.

I heard an interview with him several weeks ago where it was discussed how he treated the combine just as if it were a job interview for IBM. It wasn't a kid coming in to a meeting in sweats, but he was dressed in a suit and tie, had his resume with him...he treated the entire process very professionally.

I was impressed. Considering how the NFL GM's look at kids "mental state" as one of their prerequisites, he knocked his interviews out of the park.

Solid football player as well.

Thats definately a way to stand out from the crowd these days. Good for him, maybe it will catch on more. That would have earned him a big gold star on my notebook, plus like you said, the fact that he ca nplay some ball pretty well helps.

I've seen some ??'s on Andre becasue of the off field issues lately but most seem ot think his on field performance and his character negate those.

For Andre, the red flag may have been thrown up on his maturity and choice of agents more than any other issue one might have.
