Then when Saban retires, we bring Kiffin back as HC.

Then again, why would he leave, especially if we offer him a nice 7-figure extension? He's still making plenty of money, he can fly his kids in anytime he wants, and he doesn't have to deal with the media scrutiny of a HC. Then when Saban retires in 5 or so years, Kiffin becomes the HC.

Sort of my thoughts too. While he does indeed have a great thing going at Clemson, I think the tug on the ol' heart strings would be too much if offered.

One thing is sure. When the time comes for CNS to retire, people will be lined up foaming at the mouth to get this job.
