unworthy opponents? do they mean.....

louisville...51-14 in 2018
usc...52-6 in 2016
michigan...41-14 in 2012

or how about michigan state and washington in actual playoff games? maybe those are the unworthy opponents they're talking about.

students have been leaving games early for as long as i can remember. and it's not just at Alabama. but i guess it can get boring watching your team win week after week...after week...after week...after week. hell, we've beaten sec teams worse than some of the ones they call unworthy.

also, i'd like to know how many schools say "no" to BAMA when they call and ask if they'd like to play. and what about the amount of money BAMA gives to these "lower-tier" schools just to come lose (or scare the crap out of us....looking at you, georgia southern)? BAMA has written checks for more than $1 million to these schools to give a nice boost to their budget. also, it gives their players a chance to possibly play on tv when they might not have that chance.

oh, and the picture they used to show the empty stands...? that was well before the iron bowl. so that's not some lower-tier school (at least, not in the sense they're thinking, lol). it's another sec school and our biggest rival. i swear, journalists can never be truthful with anything. all they can do is twist facts and lie just to push their agenda and think no one will ever call them on it.

Buttttttttttt.....when Bama whips a blue blood like that......cheers....to beat a lower level or a ......Minor player even from a power 5 conference.... ( insinuating DUKE here..)...... bye bye to fans leaving early

And journalists have been majorly exposed for their fake journalism whether it be politics or sports..... have their end pictures and build from bottom...... we know this without question @sk33tr

Frankly, college football is having a lot more problems getting fans to the game much less have the luxury of worrying when they leave. When universities decide to get proactive with fan attendance, we shall know. I'm sure Bama felt compelled to offer these new home and home series with the big boys to influence and promote home attendance. The next time the schedule dramatically changes it will only be after the university feels equally compelled. Don't hold your breath.

As long as the SEC is competing for natties at the rate we're going the NCAA is going to have to make us play 9 conference games. And ditto on the ACC. Unfortunately the same is true for directional schools that litter the schedule. Otherwise getting to the playoffs will be priority one and not fan entertainment. The only hope for the near future is when the playoffs expand to 8 teams and we give the higher seeds true home-field advantage. Like in Tuscaloosa.
