🏈 Alabama's director of player personnel committed major NCAA violations at Central Florida

That headline is misleading and is just Kausler slinging more mud.

Here's a pertinent paragraph that doesn't mesh with the headline at all:
Ed Marynowitz, who joined coach Nick Saban's staff in December 2008, served as UCF's recruiting administrator in 2007. He is not named in the Public Infractions Report released Thursday by the NCAA, and neither is the other former UCF staff member.

That headline is misleading and is just Kausler slinging more mud.

Here's a pertinent paragraph that doesn't mesh with the headline at all:

He is not identified by his name, but he was the individual filling the position named by title and his resume is a perfect match for the background described in the report. The NCAA, cowardly I might add, issues two infractions reports. One has the actual names of the people involved named, and a second report merely refers to the involved individuals tangentially - identifying them by their job titles or as a 'booster' or the like.

This individual was the person who filled one of the job titles described and his employment history fits the resume of the individual responsible to a tee. Could be a coincidence that there were two individuals filling that job with identical employment histories and that we hired the innocent one. Everything could be possible I guess.

We have a history of not exactly terminating relationships with people in our employ who have committed NCAA no-nos - in fact we have actually PROMOTED one who actively engaged in conduct to cover-up and conceal a clear violation seen by at least a dozen people. That inaction on our part, in my informed opinion, resulted in our circa-2001 penalties being enhanced substantially. This guy is a mere minor cog in The Process and we should politely inform him his continued employment ends at the close of business today. But, as appropriate as that would be, it would really be nothing more than a PR move. Our administration knew of this BEFORE today and has done nothing to remove the substantial risks his continued presence presents. Why in Hades we take the risk of staring down the barrel of a gun over a mid-level administrator is beyond me. But, given our leadership, I am anything but surprised.

Well said, Alagator. I believe the Saban regime, because, lets be honest, HE"s the boss now, will correct this issue. Under the guidance of what existed before Nick Saban's arrival, this is exactly the kind of person that we repeatedly hired and, yes, promoted. Saban doesn't accept bullshit like that. This guy will be gone in short order.
