🏈 Alabama players in the 2023 Senior Bowl: To'o To'o withdraws from the game.

Okay…wasn’t sure if he was thinking about coming back next year. He has to continue on to the pros since he is dealing with an agent right?

The agent rules are not as black and white the they use to be, but him returning isn't the reason for opting out of the game. He will almost certainly still be in Mobile some early in the week for interviews.

Why play. Like risking an injury at a bowl game
And these aren't ur teammates
It's an interview. That's why you play. Most, if not all, won't get a combine invite. The Senior Bowl invitation is a step below that combine invitation and quite a few won't have either opportunity.

Considering we're this far removed from the end of the season I hope he doesn't have a lingering back problem.

The list of players who have helped their stock and greatly increased their draft position/earnings because they had a good 3 or 4 days is long and extensive. Yes, some have hurt their stock too, but much more often than not it's the positives that are carried over from down there as opposed to negatives. It can often be a red flag that has to be managed well by the reps when an invited player declines to participate (unless it is someone that is a sure fire 1st round type guy).

He has played well enough. Now on to pro day.
I cant see declining a all star game. But a bowl game with ur teammates...yeah
