Just occurred to me that Coach Saban has not confirmed one hire yet for the position coaches on his staff. It's starting to feel like a depth chart around here.
Well here ya go, hot off the presses...

— Offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach — Steve Sarkisian, who was the Atlanta Falcons’ offensive coordinator the last two seasons after a brief run as the Tide’s offensive coordinator.
— Defensive coordinator/inside linebackers coach — Golding, who was Alabama’s co-defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach last year.
— Running backs coach/associate head coach — Charles Huff, who was Mississippi State’s running backs coach, assistant head coach and run game coordinator last season after four years as Penn State’s running backs coach and special teams coordinator.
— Wide receivers coach — Holmon Wiggins, a former starting running back at New Mexico who was Justin Fuente’s wide receivers coach at Virginia Tech the last three seasons after four years as Fuente’s wide receivers coach at Memphis.
— Offensive line coach — Kyle Flood, the former Rutgers head coach who was the Falcons’ assistant offensive line coach the last two seasons.
— Tight ends coach/special teams coordinator — Banks
— Defensive line coach/associate head coach — Brian Baker, a longtime NFL assistant who was Mississippi State’s defensive line coach the last three years.
— Outside linebackers coach — Sal Sunseri, a former Alabama assistant who returns to the staff after previously serving as the Tide’s outside linebackers coach from 2009 to 2011. Sunseri was Florida’s defensive line coach last year.
— Cornerbacks coach — Karl Scott, who was Alabama’s defensive backs coach last season.
— Safeties coach/associate defensive coordinator — Charles Kelly, an Ozark, Alabama native who was Florida State’s defensive coordinator from 2014 to 2017. Kelly was Tennessee’s safeties coach last year.

Can a former player or coach please explain to me what your job responsibility is when you are an Associate Head Coach/CO DC or OC compared to just being the main OC or DC? IE what is the difference in responsibilities between what Pete Golding does as the main DC versus Charles Kelly as the associate DC?

A lot of college coaches have elevated titles like the government. Assistant Head Coach, Associate Head Coach, Deputy Assistant to the Vice Counsel. It's resume padding and means nothing.

It means something to someone. otherwise they wouldn't have associate titles. I find it interesting that there are zero associate OC's.

I've been in the working world for ~30 years, I'd like to think I'm well versed on titles.

I've mentioned before that Kuligowski wasn't a good fit for the staff. This isn't an opinion I've drawn, it's one that's been voiced by defensive linemen (which I learned from their parents.) What I find interesting is when he was hired he was praised as being a players coach. As it ended, that simply wasn't the case. Even with (and this is a personal assumption) Saban pointing out areas where he needed to work harder, he didn't.

I find this tweet so ironic today.

This opportunity was dressed in a the Stuart Holmes editions and the work aspect was clearly spelled out. But, it was an opportunity missed.

I find this interesting. Look at Tosh and how he moved on to another job. It's a rarity we see Saban actually fire a coach. In Tosh's case, we saw Saban help him move to another position at another job. In Kool's case...no matter how you want to phrase it, the only look you'll leave with is the picture of the impression of Saban's Salvatore Ferraro's on the seat of his pants.

I think Jones will come around. I have no doubt CNS will see to that.

No. 1 recruit in Alabama, Crimson Tide commit, looking around after Nick Saban's staff changesANDREW OLSON | 3 HOURS AGO

Alabama formally announced the hiring of seven new assistant coaches on Friday. Nick Saban’s staff overhaul has prompted the top recruit in the Yellowhammer State to look around while maintaining his ā€œcommitmentā€ to the Crimson Tide.

Calera DT Jayson Jones committed to Alabama on July 2, 2018. Since then, however, his potential position coach and coordinator have changed at UA. Brian Baker has replaced Craig Kuligowski as defensive line coach while Pete Golding has been promoted to defensive coordinator taking over for the departed Tosh Lupoi.

ā€œCoaches come and go. I obviously know that,ā€ Jones told AL.com’s Josh Bean. ā€œI just don’t have that same feel with Alabama that I had with the last coaching staff. I know I have to get used to them and build a relationship with each and every one of them, but I just don’t feel that mojo.ā€
Despite the lack of ā€œmojo,ā€ Jones isn’t backing off his pledge to the Tide just yet.

ā€œI’m still committed to Alabama,ā€ Jones said, ā€œbut I’m going to be venturing out more, outside of my state and looking at other schools.ā€

Those other schools include Florida, Oregon, Tennessee, Georgia and Michigan, according to Bean. On the 247Sports Composite, the 6-6, 340-pound Jones is ranked the No. 1 recruit from Alabama, No. 2 defensive tackle and No. 38 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2020.
