Alabama landed commitments from a pair of 2015 prospects, offensive lineman Lester Cotton and wide receiver Daylon Charlot, during its Junior Day in Tuscaloosa.

Cotton, a 6-foot-3, 309-pound Tuscaloosa Central High product, was one of the standouts during the Under Armour Game combine in Florida earlier this month.

He is rated as the No. 11 guard in the nation and the No. 221 overall player in the Class of 2015. He is considered a four-star prospect.

Charlot, who hails from Patterson, La., continues a bountiful pipeline in the state of Louisiana for the Crimson Tide, who are already set to haul in three of the state's top players in the 2014 class.

Standing at 6-feet and 177 pounds, Charlot is rated as a four-star and the No. 33 receiver in the 2015 class.

Charlot and Cotton are the sixth and seventh commitments in Alabama's 2015 class.

I've seen Charlot play. Patterson is just across the river from Morgan City. He could be a good'un. Our sports editor is trying to find more recent highlights, which I'll post here if I can. These are from his sophomore season.
