šŸˆ Alabama is #1

From what I seen today its going to take a full effort every game to win out. We had a heck of a time getting started against a very bad defense......Way to early to start awarding Bama awards yet. Hope this talk doesn't start getting to the players ears and getting in their head.

I think the players are pretty good at taking it one game at a time. They do have last year to go by, starting 12-0 and giving Florida all they could handle in the de facto national title game. I don't think we have to worry about the players getting full of themselves......the coaching staff we have in place will not let that happen IMO...

I feel good about the team for the most part (totally bummed about Hightower though) but I temper my enthusiasm against who we have played.

To me the O-line got pushed around a bit during the run game. Trent's run was ALL him & our passing game kept them from crowding the box (which is great) but that line has got to be more physical. However, I may be comparing them to last years line which is one of the best we've seen in a long time.

BTW, knock on wood, pray, or whatever to keep the injury bugs down to a min. That crap can take the wind out of our sails real quick.

My message to any body with high expectation at this point is, it is extremely early in the season and any thinking that we will run the table is way to optimistic. If you think that things can't change in a second should look at Tebow blow to the head. I know we have depth, finally, but it is still way to early to celebrate!

You're kidding, right? I've already booked Hotel/Flight to Pasadena.

All I'm trying to say is as of right now I don't see any team that's better than 'Bama. Just my opinion.

This.

The defense didn't escape Saban's wrath, either. Despite overwhelming the Hogs and making white-hot quarterback Ryan Mallett look like Ryan Seacrest, the Nicktator wasn't happy that the secondary blew a basic coverage and gave up a lousy seven points in 60 minutes.
