Alabama football’s starting wolf linebacker, Qua Russaw is expected to miss some time after undergoing surgery, following a foot injury he suffered against Georgia in the Crimson Tide’s 24-21 victory, per CBS sports insider Matt Zenitz.


The Montgomery, Alabama native had been having a solid start to his redshirt sophomore campaign, collecting a sack and three tackles for the Alabama defense in four games before being sidelined.

This story is developing, but it appears Alabama’s defense will now have to move forward without the services of Russaw for the foreseeable future.
