🏈 Alabama dropped to 5th in Coaches Poll

Nothing that cant be overcome,,Okie is living on a razors edge, Iowa will lose in the B10 CG, it will come down to beating the barn and somehow beating UGA...not sure that is possible at this point but maybe this loss will be a kick in the ass for this team. They must have despised that experience last night walking off that field and I hope it left a disgusting taste in their collective mouths.
 
Just out of curiosity. I wonder what the spread would be for Georgia against Iowa, Cincinnati and Oklahoma. I still want to believe that this will be a wake- up call and at the end, we will be back in the playoffs

It’s mind boggling how many times in the last 14 years that this has been the case. I know as a fan base that we tend to bitch over the smallest things, but it has been a wonderful ride & I don’t think we are anywhere near the end. 16 years ago we would have been concerned about “being bowl-eligible “.
I also heard how we got out-coached last night. That’s happened damned few times in the last 14 years.
We may lose again this year, but I can’t think of anyone else I would rather have leading us - I like our chances!

How much time do we realistically have left with CNS on the sidelines? Coach looks very tired these days. That's NOT a knock or a criticism. That's exactly how Bryant looked in 1982. Now, that's certainly not to say that 2021 is Saban's 1982. But, we could have a new coach by say....2026 or so. It has nothing to do with losing to aTm and everything to do with where CNS may be in his career. Just my .02 on that.

As for this season.....I don't know. We'd have to seriously turn it around and FAST if we want to have a realistic shot at the playoffs. Too much is wrong on defense. Golding needs to go and it doesn't need to drag on any longer than it already has. That's just for starters
 
Takeaway the turnovers and/or convert 3rd down at the goal and they still win this game. Does not remove the issues the team has but still shows this is a really good team and crazy uncharacteristic stuff has to happen for them to get beat.

It was also crazy that Bama had 0 sacks and if I understand it 0 hurries. Unreal stat.
 
I always find it funny how when a team loses ONE game that team’s fan base loses it.

Just a week ago we dominated a very good Ole Miss team.

I think we win out and get to the SECCG and UGA will be leading the game and we’ll still win because Kirbs will do what Kirbs has always done and take his foot off the pedal and combine that with Bama will start finding their footing and we’ll pull it off and we’ll get to the playoff. Not sure we’ll win the NC, but we’ll make it to the playoff
 
Any poll that has Cincinnati and Iowa ranked higher than bama is a joke but based on bama's loss is understandable. I have seen 0 plays of either so this is simply based on history. It will fix itself one way or the other.
 
Brandon mentioned it in another post. What will UGA do now that they are the hunted and not the hunter? Gonna be interesting to see it play out. With our luck, OU and Iowa will lose, UF will pull a rabbit out of the hat and beat UGA in a couple weeks and we will be back being ranked ahead of everyone else. I hope not, but I can see that happening.

Their schedule is soft and they get Florida in a neutral environment, so being the hunted in their case at the moment is very threatening. Kentucky is a good story, but they do not have the talent to stick with Georgia for four quarters. Georgia Tech will not pose any threat.
