The "retirement" or more specifically the "off the field" rumor regarding him has been floating around for a bit now. But Saban runs silent and deep with that stuff and it's hard to separate rumor from truth sometimes when he's making hires.

Marrone wants a landing spot back in the NFL ASAP. He really enjoys working with O'Brien, but unlike him, O'Brien doesn't mind staying at Bama another year...
