I don't think this year will be same as last year. Saban mentioned yesterday that we were young on the defense last year and how they didn't get themselves set with defense. If team are focused and quiet... i like their chance. I'm going to take a wild guess based on my gut feelings and i don't think I've ever been wrong on those... 48-21 Game pulling away in 3rd quarter.

I agree with Justneedme81 as I too am going against the conventional wisdom … something I don’t often do … Bama 48 Ole Miss 17. Just about all of the national pundits are either picking Bama winning a close shootout or Ole Miss winning a close shootout. They’re rarely correct when they all agree on something. Plus, Joseph Goodman is once again calling for Bama to lose (3rd time this season) and I so want him to be embarrassed again. Anyway, Bama typically plays much better when doubted and since everyone is saying Bama’s D can only at best slow down Kiffin’s O. I’m saying Bama goes old school and runs the ball against that 3-2-6 D for long drives which gives their D enough rest to thwart the bad boy’s return. I mean surely Saban has thought about and put as much time in devising a game plan for this meeting as Kiffin has … right? If so, my money’s on Saban. I’ve got all my fingers and all my toes crossed!

One thing that Greg McElroy said the other day still resonates with me - everyone is talking about how Lane Kiffin has been circling this game and practicing and scheming for it all year…what the heck do you think Nick Saban has been doing?!? He knows what happened last year. The man is usually 2 steps ahead of everyone else. If you don’t think he’s spent time prepping for this game since this summer you’re crazy.
