So, the rest of the SEC is around 50%. Griffith is slightly better. I concur. No FGs over 40 yards. Of course, on at least one of those it would have been shorter if Blake had thrown the ball away.

While his success has been better than the rest of the SEC (combined) there's a number here that needs to be highlighted: seven attempts.
In 2012 and 2013 we had nine attempts, each season, on FG's over 40 yards.
I may have my dates wrong here: don't think so.
Last year, one of my criticisms was the success rate inside the red zone. If we step back to 2012 the offense was stalling but it was just outside the red zone. We were hitting the proverbial "bump in the road" between the 20-35 yard lines. This year, we're doing it again so far.
