🏈 A true confession....JH vs TUA

MS50+ went to Zumba class Thursday night....
And i turn onDVR and watched last years Bama-Tn game....
Was at game and just now watched....
Bama and offense struggled in first half...with JH at QB....even announcers commented on how he was missing receivers coming open....and poor throws....a strange penalty and great D controlled game
When TUA came in second half....it was lightning in a bottle... (as was NC game)
I know it was second half...TN was depleted....but the passes...wow...
I have been a big JH supporter....but??
But a question.....
Where was TT for the entire Auburn game...our offense was awful...JH was not good..
And for that matter....the Clemson game ( which the D controlled)..
I am coming around to TUA.....as most here have rallied for......
Just a confession.....maybe I have been wrong....

I'm less than amused when folks from the outside try to explain Tua's potential on 2 second half quarters of football. Bama not only allowed Tua to play a lot of football but there were no limitations on the play calling even after turnovers. Getting into some SEC games at the beginning of the 3rd quarter they let him play behind the first-team offense until the score got ridiculous and he most certainly was playing against the first team defenses. That was so out of the ordinary for a Nick Saban team and it seldom gets the attention it deserves even now. They knew this kid was special throwing the ball and leading a team that they never, even after the long pick-six in the Tennessee game, never, deviated from the gameplan, keep on throwing Tua.

On top of his outstanding passing success is his humility and likability around his teammates and his leadership qualities. He is just as much the reason the QB competition isn't more hostile as Jalen is. This guy was literally coming off the bench and on the field and was often the first person to meet Jalen after he would score all season long. Jalen felt that and knew that and returned the favor. Tua and his ukulele style is the real deal for the coaches and the players. I thought he was actually more ready for that Georgia game then most think or give him credit for.

Both QBs have talent. Personally, my frustration with JH is that he hasn't improved in the passing area. He can throw the ball, but Tua is a better passer. I think everyone was expecting to see a passing improvement from JH during A Day. I didn't see any improvement and it may have been a decline.

Yeah, especially after all the rave reviews from the manning QB camp.

As far as the *u game goes, I don't care. Bama did not need to win that game (hindsight and all). And to some people, it seemed like Bama played that way. Had Bama won that game, they would have had to play UGa in the SECCG, while they were still depleted at the LB position. That would have been bad for either Bama or Ga. Bama sat the SECCG out, was fortunate enough to still be selected for the PO's, was able to return some injured players that were essential, and the rest is HIs-to-ry. Good luck? Or, brilliant strategy? Don't know, don't care. ROLL TIDE!

#2's game vs the Barn this year was just as bad as the one in 2016. #2 and Bama were able to win so many games due to Jalen's ability to make something happen with his feet over and over. If he stays as the #1 QB that will have to continue for Hurts is maxed out as a QB. The defensive CO's of the best teams we play have a scheme to make it very difficult for the Bama offense to have success. It is Lone Waite,Ten Bears, and my opinion that #13 is the best option at QB in 2018. We all agree that #2 will not be at Bama for the 2018 season.

We'll see.

I believe he will be at Bama....but not...errrrrrrr..the starter at QB...TT...appears to be the real thing... and if JH wants a pro career....a change he will have to make...
