It got within 5 of my home course average. I took a few years off from golf and have just recently gotten back into it. Discovered we have a really decent course on the lake that is only about 5 miles from my house so I am really enjoying it.
Got me at a 75. About nine shots off my normal handicap. Was on track for a 79 on Sunday, but freaking exploded with two doubles and a triple in a three hole stretch on 14-16. I hit the ball well and can play, but there are usually one or two holes where I will have an issue getting out of the sand or missing a four foot putt to add 3-4 strokes on to my score that just kill my entire round.
I think a lot of the way this is scored is based on two things--number of wedges and number of balls used. Some of the questions I don't buy as having a great impact on scoring average--what time of the day do you play is one.
