🏈 A few random thoughts from the game...

1. I don't know how much the University paid for those ribbon boards, but what a colossal waste of money. No statistics. VERY rarily do they show scores from around the league. Seriously, nothing but ads. If not for a friend texting me scores all night, I wouldn't have had a clue.

2. At one point in the game last night, after a piss poor screen pass by McElroy, there was an opportune time to let some "boos" rain down. You could just feel it coming. I'm glad our fans decided against it, but I did hear a few random people.

3. Our fans were awesome at the end of the game. Not wanting to allow a touchdown with less than a minute to go, our crowd was as loud then as we were at any point of the night.

4. I knew Ingram had a big game, but didn't know how big until I was in my car listening to the post game. It's a damn shame that those ribbon boards are capable of producing statistics.

Overall, great game!! Roll Tide!!

1. The crowd seemed really into it on tv.
2. Maybe the ribbon boards will get online next year when the stadium is done.
3. Gmac looked as bad on tv as he must have looked at the stadium. We just couldn't see the field to see who was open and who wasn't. So it was tougher to judge his decisions.
4. Thankfully this game was at out stadium. If this had been on the road, woa!
5. Glad Saban or someone made the call to basically take Gmac out of the equation and just smash mouth the ball. I have never seen a QB go from heisman race to bad so fast. There is something going on in his head. The game seems to be moving to fast for him right now and a change may have to be made if it keeps up. I think I see now why Gmac wasn't playing last year.

Why do they quit playing the "3rd down" AC/DC music in the second half? Also, the lack of instant replays is an embarrassment. And when they do show them, they change camera angles more during the play than the WWE does during a 10 minute wrestling match... so it is hard to really follow anything. The folks that run the audio and video are just plain bizarre.

Don't even get me started on the ribbon boards.

porter, was that you with the A on your chest?... were you part of the ingram fan club? i thought it was cool how your A was the written like the alabama logo while the other letters were plain block letters.. very creative..

Thast sad if they don't use those ribbon boards like they should. Scores from other games, with heavy on the SEC, and just stats running the whole time. Yes, I understand advertising, but what is the true purpose of them...give us information on the game. Between that, and what you guys say about the replay board, it may be worse than listening to Eli as far as up to the moment info.

Someone needs to count the number of dropped passes.

Some one needs to compare his passing efficiency with the opponents Pass Defense standings. They are in EXACT relationship to each other with the exception of NT and FIU. Suspect that had to do with him playing for the NT coach for 4 years in HS and having a LITTLE idea of what to expect on pass defense.
