🏈 #71 saw some early playing time against vandy

been wondering if someone was gonna bring this up...

so we the first drive of the 3rd Quarter we had #71 in a LT...but didn't come back until the mop up duty in the 4th...

why was he in that early and why didn't he stay?

IDK, one thing I have always noticed. When C K comes in at LT, they always shift Barrett Jones to RT and Fluker comes out for that series. :headscratch:

Not sure if they showed it on tv but the first I saw Cyrus they were working on fluker's right ankle. Appeared to be nothing since he didn't even sit down, maybe just tape or something. Anyway it was a long drive and perhaps they didn't want to mess up what was working. Fluker was back on the next drive if I remember correctly.

Cecil Hurt tweeted today that Arie (Cyrus' brother) will most likely have surgery and miss the rest of the season. (knee)

Fluker lost a shoe on the play and had to come off the field. He had it retied and taped over. CK stayed in on the drive and performed quite well.

I think we have done that combo every game Cyrus has played with the ones? I don't understand why DJ can't play RT if Cyrus is in the game at LT? Can someone please explain?

DJ went out because of his shoe getting taken off his foot. CK went to left tackle and they moved Barrett over to the RT spot. I imagine that they are trying to keep our best O-lineman on the field at all times( Barrett Jones) in an attempt to further the progression of Steen at the RG spot.
