Means we're pretty much even money to make it. FSU has best odds to make it, Ohio State has longest odds to make it, out of those five.

If you wanted to bet on FSU making the playoff, you would have to bet $260 to win $100, and so on and so forth.

There's a lot of people who shy away from playing the spread and stick with playing money lines. It can get confusing if you start betting and you're not using multiples of 100.

I've seen some of the money lines on Bama this past season that were in the 10's of thousands. A lot of the time you need some serious throw around money to play. As example, tonight's game with 'Ville playing Temple has the Cardinals at -1500. On the other hand, if you felt comfortable playing Temple (+900) a $100 bet has a nice payoff.
