first i must apologize for not posting the poll prior to the game, but i would like to formally congratulate CJ Mosely for applying the first Snot Bubble hit of the 2012 season to a Michigan Wolverine who undoubtedly is still feeling something from that hit.

This makes two years in a row that CJ has won the coveted Snot Bubble Hit Trophy - which is a large crystal bubble with some dirt on it.

He delivered a few last night. Which one are you talking about?

The "pretty for the camera" Snot Bubble has to go to Sunseri.

I did find it funny with Herbie and Mussie (yah, just coined that) asking why they aren't trying more options and as soon as they did one of them said, "that's why." Vinnie blew that play up!

i tried to find the clip but i do know it was in the first quarter and really wasn't too long after the game had started. cj came through the line and cracked somebody's head.
yes... the later hit by vinnie was a thing of beauty.... that's what i like to call a "tone-setter"

It wasn't a "snot bubble hit," but it also set a tone.

On Michigan's third possession when Dee intercepted Denard's pass and then leveled Denard on the run back...remember that hit? Hell, it wasn't a highlight reel play, but it was a solid "lower your shoulder and run through the defender" type of contact.

Fast forward.

CJ Mosley's INT...watch Denard on this play. Do you think he wants contact with CJ? CJ was already in the end zone, but there was ZERO effort by Robinson to prevent the score. Hell, his tackle/bump attempt look more like Coach Pat Murphy doing a chest bump with the softball players than it did a legitimate football play.

Somewhat related is a series of quotes from a Michigan board. I found it humorous to how physical we play and now that they witnessed it first hand.

WCE71 wrote: Sorry JD but Saban absolutely let off the gas in the second half. He oes not run up the score on OOC schools that he respects. Look at Penn State the past two years. He only showed enough to preserve the win. Saban went 5 deep at RB last night and pretty much ran between the tackles in the second half. Also played without our starting NG and Safety the entire second half. 73 players got PT. It's not like he left the starters in for 4 quarters. UM played hard and never quit and DR is a warrior. Coach Hoke is a good man and I believe that Big Blue is headed in the right direction. Good luck the rest of the year.

If we had played the first half as well as we did the second half. We might not have won, but it would have been a far closer game.

We held Bama to only ten in the second half. I don't buy the "Saban was letting off the gas" argument; he doesn't do that.

What a ridiculous thing to say, you do know that they play Western Kentucky, Western Carolina, and Florida Atlantic at home right?

I feel sorry for the players on those teams because they have no idea what kind of physical and emotional beating they're in for.

I don't even think they should play teams like that because people could get seriously hurt for no good reason

Nice pic!!!

"sit down"

RTR

BTW my in-laws went to the game. They said after the first TD that the camera went to AJ on the sidelines and you could read his lips when he was addressing the team. They said it looked like AJ said "they can't play with us"! Understatement of the game!!

Watch Vinnie from start to finish on this play.

Read like a book.
