First event of the year, let's see if there is any interest. Here are the main card fights in order and my prediction.

Punahele Soriano vs. Uros Medic - Soriano by decision if he chooses to wrestle and his gas tank holds up. KO is in play, too. Medic was wrestle-f*cked a few fights back. Soriano has lost his last two to southpaws.

Christian Rodriguez vs. Austin Bashi - This is Bashi's first fight in the UFC so I am going with CRod until proven otherwise, given his track record as a prospect killer. Rodriguez by decision.

Chris Curtis vs. Roman Kopylov - This is simple for my bet: I don't trust Curtis to fight for my money. He has power but can be hesitant and lacks volume at time. He can put Kopylov to sleep, but I suspect he fights out of range and wins a split decision.

Cesar Alemida vs. Abdul Razak Alhassan - Alhassan has lost recently to really solid fighter that like to wrestle, that's not a concern tonight. These guys are going to bang, fight will not go the distance. I like Alhassan by KO.

Santiago Ponzinibbio vs. Carlston Harris - This may be a retirement fight for one or both of these men, 38 and 37, respectfully. Harris wants to grapple and Ponzi wants to throw. I suspect Ponzinibbio's volume is the difference. Double-chance KO or decision.

Mackenzie Dern vs. Amanda Ribas - Ribas won the first contest in 2019. She wants to box and Dern wants to use her jiujitsu on the ground. If Ribas stays out of her guard, I'll take her by decision.

Happy fighting.
