Obligatory "way too early" Todd McCshay 1st round mock:

McShay's way-too-early 2018 mock draft: Promising QB class awaits

5. Calvin Ridley
10. Minkah Fitzpatrick
14. Bo Scarbrough
18. D'Shawn Hand
32. Da'Ron Payne

-Notes "If" Bo Scar stays healthy.
-See's Hand having a breakout year
-Thinks Payne gets more shine without Tomlinson

A few things... Not sure how playing safety will impact Minkah Fitz' draft stock. My amateur scout brain thinks he could be a big time CB prospect. Also, seems like a huge stretch for Bo to be taken that high. Going back to high school he's never proven he can handle a load without getting injured. Hand at 18 is a huuuuge jump from being a part timer last year... but he has the Jon Allen type measurables, maybe more athletic, so the versatility is valuable. Payne should have a huge season. Would be surprised if he doesn't end up higher.

Ronnie Harrison is one of those players that I could even see playing the Mark Barron NFL role. He is large and moves and he's getting to be a thumper. He has played a lot of football and he's getting savvy. Emotionally, he has to mature and stay out of trouble but a big year could make him a first rounder. I was surprised at the premium the draft put on safeties this year. Rashaan Evans playing full time, it's not out of the realm of possibilities, he has measurables and uncommon quickness.

Good call on both. In the long run it made a lot more sense for Rashaan to move inside. He's just not big enough to play that OLB role in the league. But if he can prove himself in pass coverage this year, he could be an intriguing early round pick.

Harrison... So much potential. Could easily see him being a first rounder this year. Could also see him getting suspended half the season for thumping dudes in the head. Big year for him.

Interesting...

I would think Tony Brown might make the cut also...

What about Evans... thinking he could be a late rounder?

Other possibles... Buggs, Foster, Sims ??? depending on if they live up to potential??
