FWIW, I don't think this game ends up being close though I've thought this game resembles the 2005 BCSNC quite a bit.

Assuming I'm wrong, and it's close in the fourth quarter, there's one thing that pops out to me.

Clemson, in the fourth quarter, has outscored its opponents 99-90. Bama, on the other hand, has outscored its opponents 114-64 in the same scenario. IF this game end up going into the fourth ... still favors the Tide.

{Bitchfest for a second...}

In the worn out debate between Saban and Bryant I'm tiring of hearing "under today's scholarship limits" as a defining factor.

I do understand there's a difference between the two era's when it comes to college football scholarships. What really gets on my nerves is the failure in mentioning every other team in college football had the same limitations under Saban and every other team had the same limitations (or freedom?) as Bryant in his day.

It's a piss poor argument in my opinion.

"Bryant could sign 100 if he wanted to and keep players from other teams." So could everyone else! But, those players chose to attend school in Tuscaloosa.

[/bitching]

This is just me, but this time, I'm going to refrain from predicting a score or who will win. That being saig, I want Bama to kick their teeth in and make them shit them back out. Win or the other option, not gonna speak it, This team has gone farther than I thought possible. Now, beat the shit out of those loud mouth, smack talkin' sonsabitches and FINISH!

Useless trivia:

Bama has only played one game in Arizona, can you name the team they played against? When? Coach by whom?

Stallings first season, the bowl game following the 1990 season, a loss against Louisville.

And, just thinking about this...

BCSNC locations and Bama wins ...

A win tonight gives Bama the "grand slam" having won in all but one location ... AZ
