One of the things that never dawned on me—even after reviewing the season and box scores, etc extensively—was the point of the team losing seven games out of the season's 12 losses by a single run. (I'd love to know how many runners were left on base in those games but don't have time to research it in that degree of depth.)

I bring that up to make this point. If we win our regional, which isn't an easy regional considering the other three teams have had some big wins this season, we'll end up traveling to Knoxville to face UT.

We played our series in Knoxville this season and the final scores of the three games were 4-3, 2-1, and a 7-1 game on Sunday being our only win of the series.

In the first game, the 4-3 loss, we left three runners on base when the game ended: seven for the game. In the second game, again, left seven runners on base.

We need timely hitting in a major, major way. If we can get it this go-around in Knoxville this team can still make the trip to Oklahoma. Unfortunately, in my experience, if a team can't get that "turned on" in the regular season early they don't get it turned on late in post-season play.

.
. an over/under bet of 75 would be enticing...I take the over

The top 4 were seeded 1-4. #5 is seeded 10th. :icon_rolleyes: Can't wait for the football playoff committee seedings. :icon_rolleyes:
