📡 YouTube TV and ESPN/ABC are officially on a break...

Omg. Wow. I drove to my moms in Guntersville AL. About 2 hours so i could watch it on ppv. Some stupid rule about only getting ppv if your tv was in state....
Of course...got feed like a king. Peas. Cornbread. Fried chicken. Ummm

Old Grey Lady. Lots of memories of going to games there.
When I was in high school, I was in the band and we would work a concession stand at Legion Field. I was there in '86 and on a break and got to witness Bennett's hit on Beuerlein.

For just about every game, after we closed down and the game was over, we'd all walk through the stands picking up all the plastic cups people had left. I had so many of those cups...but I have no idea what happened to them. My mom or dad probably threw them away. I'd get ~20 each time we worked, which was several times a season from 10th grade to 12th grade. And back then, BAMA played a few times each season at LF.

Dont think CNS lost to LaTech....LaMonroe yes...
Bama lost to LaTech but not under CNS...
Just minor correction...
Yeah losing to either of those teams would be crossing the line. But the great thing is Bama does not accept that or losses to Vandy. They rise above it and always have which is why it does not sap me. I know it is the exception because Bama program and fanbase will not allow it to be acceptable.

I was there that day! My uncle was the head basketball coach at Banks HS and they had a concession stand. He called me up and asked me if I wanted to sell programs. My Dad and I jumped in the truck and headed to Legion Field. When we got to the gate, my Uncle got us in and then told me that the kids that were supposed to sell, did in fact show up and that I was in the game, so enjoy. My Dad and I were standing in that end zone when Biscuit unloaded on Beurlein.
I would experience playing on that field in '87 and '88 in the small schools Dental Clinic Classic. I threw for 200 yards in the second half of that '87 game in a loss and then threw 5 picks in '88. That field literally felt like asphalt that had been painted green with white stripes.

“Dental Clinic Classic “ - I’ll bet there ain’t no more than 3 people on here that know what that means and you & me are 2 of them (and we both played in it twice!)
You are correct. That field SUCKED
