A couple of years ago I used an app while out on the Cooper River to show the guy who was driving the boat "we're on the wrong side of Daniel Island." He didn't believe me, or another friend who was with us. It seems to me in storm conditions (aftermath) I'd rather rely on a satellite than a cell tower.
