I don't know how many of you have received the email requesting that Bama fans boycott WJOX and the advertisers until Al DelGreco is removed from the air, but here is their number, 205.945.4646. General manager is Gigi South and Program Director is Ryan Haney.

His lies have been well documented on this forum. I have no problem with DelGreco being pro-cow college. It's his anti-Alabama agenda that we are sick of of. Using his position on the airwaves to harm the Bama program is reprehensible. We might not be able to stop the national media from lying nd trashing us, but we can sure as heck stop the locals in their tracks.

I understand that boycotts aren't for everyone, but if you do believe it's time to take a stand, please do so right away.

Can Al Delgreco back it up? If not.....toast as a credible souse along with the 100.5.

btw...is this a pattern for him/Al DG?

Yes, it is a pattern. He doesn't seem to have the ability to discuss anything involving Bama in an unbiased way. He was brought in for the sole purpose of providing an Auburn voice opposite Jay Barker. The irony is that Barker was often under attack from Bama for not being biased toward Alabama. Barker has maintained his balance, but Del Greco is an attack machine. I will give Jay credit for standing up to Al on occasion. Interestingly enough, Jay wasn't on the air this morning when Del Greco started spreading the lies.

Theres basically ZERO way of proving Del Taco started this.

Jay is a no spin, no emotion, no anything. He just agrees with everything. In fact, if I called in and told him my stance, Im sure he would just agree with me.

I prefer Del Taco over Jay. At least Del Taco will give an opinion and not worry about hurting somebodies feelings.

That's funny.

I don't follow the show religously so I didn't know what to think about this "Del Taco" dude and his statement.

Correct. And so it goes......and goes and goes. I just find it incredible the guy would say that and then have that disproven in so many ways.....seems like he would lose credibility quickly along with their station? I know they need to sell airtime but maybe he should stick to kicking?

Well, DelGreco claims to have spoken with someone close to Saban, so it's clear that DelGreco is claiming he started this version.

Whether he started it or not, he's gone on the air in front of an open mic and made the statement that Saban wants to leave Alabama. He's done so in the middle of recruiting season. If you're ok with that, then keep supporting the station and the sponsors. I won't.

I drive about a hour to work every day. I listen to ADG, TC and JB in the morning and PF sometimes going home. ADG has never giving me the impression that he would just spew falsehoods, I know yall might think he has a Barner agenda and he might. But I don't see him doing this without a very good source.

Saban may take him to task! Or at least his atty if he felt it hurt him or the Alabama program. We might find out who Delgreco thinks is close afterall. I figure Saban would laugh and shake his head IF he ever hears it......then again there's always the "example that needs to be made" somewhere.

Incorrect but you know Kirk McNair so you win

If if becomes apparent that it is a rumor and Taco doesnt name the rumorist then you can put 2 and 2 together. That based on my calculator equals Taco rumor. If your gonna come out with accusations, you must be able to back it up in the end or keep your dam mouth shut from the start.. Time will tell

Maybe Delgreco has been hanging out with Slimebaum.[/quote]

LOL.

I thought "Slimebaum" was credible at least when it came to sources? I think he has the inside more than some might think. There's a reason for that. He wouldn't report I spoke to a source close to CNS and he's interested in talking to LSU unless he knew that was fact. His credibility would be challenged.

Finebaum does his job well. He's no idiot when it comes to sources.

I had a feeling the kicker was going to throw up Saban's name. All they kept saying at first was to stay tuned as there was another name to add to the possible head coaches for LSU.

This broadcast is ridiculous and will do anything to stir the pot.

We will succeed regardless of what is said and to the dismay of others.
