I think we should be fine without him, but at the same time lets not for get what happened last time we didn't take a team serious. It kind of bite us hard!

Maybe move some guys around and let Tyler Love get a few reps for the next two weeks? Or is he further down the "depth chart"?

I'm guessing we will not see a lot of Smith on Saturday. I'm guessing a lot of guys will play sparingly in this game. Tulane was 4-8 last year and are replacing their QB and Heisman candidate running back this year. If you remember last year against Western Carolina, we gave them a heavy dose of Earl Alexander and DJ Hall spent a lot plays on the sideline. I think you'll see us use Upchurch, Alexander, and Dial early on and only give a lot of touches to Julio, Coffee, and Walker if we have to.

I wont be disappointed if he sits out just to heal or to give everybody a warm an fuzzy.

I'd like to see the depth chart step up & take care of business which is something we haven't been accustomed to around here. Only downside to that is we may lose some redshirts in the process but I'm not certain that is a bad thing either.

I wouldn't expect to see Andre this week, and it wouldn't hurt my feelings at all if the staff held him out for a couple of weeks. I'm not sure they will, though. Or if they NEED to hold him out that long.

Bottom line though, is you gotta protect your horses like Andre. I think the staff will take a long, hard look at him during the next 10 days or so.
