I'm an old car nut, so my heart says the car, but you'll need to decide if the time and money you will need to spend with the car will take you too much away from family and hunting.  If the Chevelle is cheap enough to be in the ball park with a Rhino/Mule, I'd take a close look before pulling the trigger.  Will this be a weekend driver or do you intend to track it?  If the 406 is producing what others have done with the small block (and it's a recent addition to the car), you may want to make sure the tranny and rear end are capable of handling the hp.  If it's a good engine, take a good look at the frame and sheet metal (including floor pans, wheel wells, trunk area and the areas around the windshield and rear window) to see if there are things that might be difficult to fix if you do a restoration.

Good luck and let us know what you decide.

RTR,

Tim
