I was just wandering what everyone thinks. I believe that the SEC will wind up 6-3 in bowl games.

The lone losers:
Mississippi St (I think that UCF is just going to be too much for them in the end. The Crooming stops here.)

Arkansas (They most definantly have a shot here, but I'm not sold. Yes I know that Oklahoma's Defense tore Mizzu's offense apart, That's not the problem here, I believe that Mizzu's Defense is going to be more than the razorbacks can handle. Sure Dmac and Jones are going to get their yards, but I think that they will be held out of the endzone for the most part.)

and last but not least... (well maybe the least):
The Barn (I actually will be pulling for them to win this one. This is not a biased pick. I think that Clemson will prove to be a better prepared team and pull out a close one.)

A game over .500

I'm thinking that OSU takes it from LSU and it falls on undisciplined play from LSU that Tressell and his team takes advantage of.

UK can't hold up to FSU athletes.

Colin Harper tears up Auburn's secondary.

And, Wisconsin runs the ball all day long vs UT.

We are in the minority on tOSU Terry but I agree. Lsu is just an above average team with Les running the show. I fully expect Tressel to have tOSU ready to roll after last year.

If LSU does blow em out again it will really put a huge dent in the Big 10/11 armor

Overall bowl record: 4-5

I see people picking Mizzou over Arkansas. mine says why he thinks that way...why do the rest of you?

mine, I have to ask if you think that Mizzou offers a better defensive front than LSU?

I see Missouri coming in ticked and ready to prove a point, to Arkansas' dismay.

The Wisconsin/Tenn game is interesting and could come down to who is having the better day.

Croom and his Bulldogs need to show me that they know how to bowl before I'm on board. This is another toss up.

The "I don't want Arkansas" Chick-fil-a Bowl could go either way as well. I'm picking that Tigers in this one. Can't go wrong there.

That's one called loss and two more among the rest because thats the way the ball bounces. SEC 6-3.

I could see this game going either way. Arkansas should be able to run the ball against Missouri, and if they really get going it could be a long day for the Tigers. However, I think Missouri is going to come into this game pissed off that they got screwed out of a BCS bowl. They will try to show the BCS people that the Tigers deserved to be in a BCS bowl over Kansas. Plus, the current coaching turmoil at Arkansas isn't doing the team any good.

Well, I think that it's not whether Mizzou offers a better defensive front or not. Mizzou will attach Arkansas' secondary. Mizzou will air it out to Jeremy Maclin and Martin Rucker. Also William Franklin and Chase Coffman have had some huge receptions for the Tigers. Chase Daniel has completed 372 of 534 passes for a total of 4170 yards with 33 TD's and 10 Interceptions. He has also rushed 104 times for a total of 284 yards. So he'll air it out but he also has the ability to run it which will keep the secondary at home more opening up for the pass.

Casey Dick, however, has completed 131 of 230 passes for a total of 1498 yards with 18 TD's and 9 Interceptions. He has only rushed 8 times for a total of -51 yards.

I believe that Arkansas will have the better rushing game though. Darren Mcfadden and Felix Jones will have more yards than Tony Temple and Jeremy Maclin.

But in the end I believe that Mizzou's offense will wear down Arky's D and score on them a little easier than Arky will do to Mizzou's D.

Just my take on it.

And as mentioned above, the coaching situation there doesn't exactly help matters for Arky any.

Solid point about the coaching situation.

IF, Arkansas is smart, they keep in on the ground and out of the hands of the Mizzou offense as long as possible. That is the reason I don't see their defense being worn down.

There are two things that struck me thinking about this game. Well, one, but in two different facets. Mizzuo leads the Big12 in 3rd down conv. Mizzou has played 13 games vs Nebraska's 12, but both teams have allowed their opponents 91 3rd down conv. and Nebraska ranks last in the Big12 in that regard.

I just see it as a ball control/TOP type of game.

What can't be defined is how they (Ark) will react. They had a meeting last week submitting their desire to move Reggie Herring into the HC position. I think they'll follow him through thick and thin...not to mention, the group he works with.

# Liberty Bowl (12/29) - Mississippi State vs. Cent. Fla. [ESPN] - 4:30 p.m. ET - Smith runs wild...

# Independence Bowl (12/30) - Alabama vs. Colorado [ESPN] - 8:00 p.m. ET

# Music City Bowl (12/31) - Kentucky vs. Florida State [ESPN2] - 4:00 p.m. ET - Tough one to pick, but I went with AW's arm...although I could easily see FSU's athletes shut UK down...

# Chick-fil-A Bowl (12/31) - Auburn vs. Clemson [ESPN] - 7:30 p.m. ET - Clemson rolls over AU I am afraid...

# Outback Bowl (1/1) - Tennessee vs. Wisconsin [ESPN] - 11:00 a.m. ET - Ainge throws all over Wisconsin while Wisconsin runs all over UT. Shootout...

# AT&T Cotton Bowl (1/1) - Arkansas vs. Missouri [FOX] - 11:30 a.m. ET - McFadden proves he is the #1 draft choice by running for 150+ yards. FJones runs for 125ish.

# Capital One Bowl (1/1) - Florida vs. Michigan [ABC] - 1:00 p.m. ET - Tebow healthy = long day for UM.

# Sugar Bowl (1/1) - Georgia vs. Hawaii [FOX] - 8:30 p.m. ET - Blackout the dome. Let's see if CB can do something big against a team that isn't named Idaho/Northern Colorado/etc.

# BCS Title Game (1/7) - LSU vs. Ohio State [FOX] - 8:00 p.m. ET - If they played right now, I would pick OSU. Les will keep them in the game, and I could possibly see OSU pull it out actually. Half of me wants to say since they are healthy they will blow OSU out, half of me looks at it from a coaching
standpoint and knows that CJT is going to coach Les outta the building!

So, 7-2, but I could very easily see it anywhere from 4-5 to 6-3.

In other words, a lot of closely matched teams from my view...

I believe that Missouri Can't handle D-Mac and Felix. Track meet.

Florida gets beat because Tebow has a Heisman curse and Michigan stops HIM. Close game.

Tennessee...well... Way to lose the SECCG... Close one.

LSU get's beat by a better coached and more disciplined team. Tressel makes up for the embarassment last year. Close game.

I like your emphasis on the word IF, but believe it's use here should be a little different.
I do believe that Arkansas is smart. Or at least smart enough to see that they
need to keep the ball out of the hands of Chase Daniel. I believe the word should
be attached to this statement:

IF, Arkansas can keep the ball out of Mizzou's possession as long as possible.

This game could really go either way. I'm still a Mizzou lean here though.

The losses being in bold.

Well we are at 6-2 right now with LSU left to play. I do believe that LSU will pull that one out, so 7-2 will be better than my 6-3 prediction. BUT if LSU drops that game, then I'm still right on with 6-3.

Didn't exactly pick the right teams to lose though. So far the only team that lost that I picked to lose was Arkansas. The only pick that drew opposing comments in here. The Florida game really surprised me, I never saw that coming. The Auburn game was actually a really good game. It was hard fought on both sides of the ball. So congrats to Miss st. and to the Barn. Sorry I didn't think you guys could get it done.

Florida? ? well,, ooops.
