i think it took balls the size of bowling balls to pull that one out. the onsides kick caught everybody by surprise. excellent call. the problem in that game was even if LSU scored a FG, they would only be up by 2. while the LSU defense had been playing better in the second half, i still think it is a good decision to try and get the TD. and i was thinking the whole drive if they score a TD, you have to go for the 2 point conversion. even if you miss the 2 pt conversion, AU will have to get a TD. reason being, if you score the TD you're only up 6 points. they can score a TD and win by 1. either way, they are going to have to score a TD but at least if you hit the 2 pt conversion they will only tie. AU would be stupid to go for a 2 pt conversion had they scored, they would have lost if they had not made it. a well played chess match by Miles imo. he's still insane, but i think thats part of what makes his play calling so unpredictable.
