LSU, is quite capable of beating Bama. With a little help of subpar performance by Bama, such as turnovers, penalties, and giving up big plays, they're more than capable. I trust CNS and Staff will have Bama up to the task.

The fact that he completely ignored 2 LSU defenders leaving and the Delpit injury is enough to cast a shadow on anything he says. That and you can't basically say they runt eh same offense then pretend only one will benefit from their defense practicing against it.

Rhetorical question there, Matt...but you reinforced the point. There's nothing Gary has said that isn't true. He's not 100%. However, the "I don't care what Alabama says." is a far cry from being an intellectual or honest note.

I can't say I recall a game like this one when it comes to how it's being framed and forecasted with one lone exception: BCS against Notre Dame. There were a lot of things being thrown out there from the pundits leading into that game and I kept beating one drum: no one was talking about how poorly they tackled. Now so many point/ counter point things just ignored.



Now, with this game, we're back in the same boat. It's not even a coincidence. It's far past ironic. Chris Walsh summed it up nicely this morning:

I've never felt as confident about this game as I am now. I believe our Defense is leagues ahead of them at this point. I think we are going to stomp a mudhole dry in them with running game & have at least 2 explosive plays in the passing offense that scores points all because they are trying to stop the run.

Delpit hurt his ankle vs Auburn. Orgeron has said every time that Delpit will be fine and ready to play. This week Delpit hasn't practiced hardly at all. He did some individual stuff yesterday, no team stuff. Super limited. Still, the talk from LSU is that Delpit will be full go.

If any school is full of crap on the injury front it's LSU in regards to Delpit.
