Rhetorical question there, Matt...but you reinforced the point. There's nothing Gary has said that isn't true. He's not 100%. However, the "I don't care what Alabama says." is a far cry from being an intellectual or honest note.

I can't say I recall a game like this one when it comes to how it's being framed and forecasted with one lone exception: BCS against Notre Dame. There were a lot of things being thrown out there from the pundits leading into that game and I kept beating one drum: no one was talking about how poorly they tackled.
Now, with this game, we're back in the same boat. It's not even a coincidence. It's far past ironic. Chris Walsh summed it up nicely this morning:
> LSU is pushing every button it can, which after eight straight losses feels like desperation. Alabama has been very calm, dignified and Nick Saban has been in a great mood all week.
