Dr. Pepper taps Les Miles and other CFB legends to replace Larry Culpepper


Prior to the 2018 season, Dr. Pepper announced it was ending its Larry Culpepper line of advertisements, and now it appears they’ve settled on replacements.

In a trailer released on Monday, former LSU coach Les Miles, legendary Ohio State RB Eddie Georgia and former star Oklahoma LB Brian Bosworth take starring roles.

The spot, teasing a “Fansville” universe, can be seen below, and looks like a promising ad campaign:


Miles as the store attendant is perfect, as the aspiring actor landed a cool new role.

Where Dr. Pepper goes from here remains to be seen, but it’s safe to say we’ll be seeing plenty of these seemingly well-produced ads during the upcoming season.

Not knocking your drink but it tastes similar. I actually like prune juice but not DP.

Larry seems a lot funnier these days.

The short clips of Les, Bosworth and Eddie George don't give you time to appreciate what they are doing. Apparently, Les is munching on some special label grass out of a bag. Wouldn't know it if somebody didn't mention it on the interwebz.
