šŸ“” Tua Tagovailoa to miss Manning Passing Academy with minor hamstring issue

#13 had a few bumps in 2018 so we need a backup that get it done.

While this is true ...
I think it's going to take a lot of duct tape to get our QB through the season.
... I believe this is a little extreme.

Think about it for a minute. Any QB that gets rolled up on by a 250+ lb player is going to get hurt a little. That's true whether it be a QB, RB, WR, OL...anyone. Add to that Tua had his hand stepped on by 300+ guy. Who isn't going to miss playing time if that happened?

A series of unfortunate events is how I look back at last season ... not "pack the duct tape." šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Off the top of my head, I remember a broken thumb on the throwing hand before the season started. Knee issues throughout the season that caused Tua to experiment with a small brace in one game than a large brace, back to a small brace and finally he no sooner took it off completely that he rolled his left ankle and finally was finished when he rolled the right one. We all want the best for Tua but our backup is going to be one important dude this season.

Maybe he will come backfor senior season......that would be awesome

I am a Alabama fan and I wished more players played their 4 but I understand the money situation. Bama's spring game was on yesterday and I watched some of the snaps with Tua Jr playing. JMO the kid is going to be pretty good (maybe not #13 level) and it wouldn't surprise me to see him have some type of a package for 2019. Nick and staff would have that package ready to go already in advance of a potential injury situation for Mack or Tua.

You have to wonder if Tua is just one of those guys who can't stay healthy.

Yes. Durability seems to be almost genetic. Some quarterbacks are tanks like that don't get hurt like Brett Favre and Peyton Manning. Others are like Brodie Croyle and Sam Bradford. I think Tua will be successful in the pros, but I forsee a career similar to that of Tony Romo or Andrew Luck.

If he can't handle staying healthy in College Football, he is going to get his shit pushed in when he goes up against the Von Millers, JJ Watts, and CJ Mosleys of the world.
He is already playing against those types.....first rounders...after first rounders....
CF isnt 12-13 games anymore...its 15....if you get to final round.... and competition gets tougher ntougher ....
First to stay healthy...you gotta be lucky...over n over
