⚾ 🥎 🏆⚾ - 2026 CWS Super Regionals: SAT: SEC v SEC at 11 with State & UGA / Three tonight with Bama at 9 ET

UT isn't letting me down again today. Another good ball game vs VCU. The Vols are down by two, T7, with a RISP.

ESPNU is the place to be right now with Squeeze Play. (IE: NFL's RedZone.)

Okie St and AL St are playing ... just started.

Are the seeded teams using their #2's or 3's pitchers, saving their 1's for the 1-0 game? And facing the unseeded 1's and getting their butt beat. Winding up in the 0-1 game.
When I've said seeded, I've been referring to the #1 and #2 seeds now that we're seeing more emphasis on the top 32 vs just the top 16 hosts.

As to your question, there are two teams out of California that both chose not to start their Friday guys; both lost. I know that for certain; was looking at them earlier this morning thinking about the decision and whether it was travel time.

It's a bit confusing with some people point to seeded losses as host losing and others include 16-32. Some, the #3's and 4's.

Online coverage this season hasn't been good; at all. There are live scoreboards showing games later on today that are in progress. The times are still different from ESPN's to NCAA's sites. Hence the reason I'm sitting on Squeeze Play today.

This shows seedings and losses pretty well. This is also part of the reason I'm mentioning Tallahassee. It's not all about it being the next match-up, it's about the day one carnage of #1 and #2. Only five of the whole group went chalk.

This could be a dangerous Bama team if they didn't play little league level dick-fingered defense. 6 errors tonight... led to 5 unearned runs. Almost cost them the game. Also didn't like relief strategy with using Heiberger like they did, but that's splitting hairs. Credit to him for at least getting out of the 9th inning jam.
