šŸˆ šŸ† The College Football Playoffs 2025-'26. The final week.

They were best they been lately. I think game day weekend they are cooking n serving instead of recooking.

I like it better than northport dreamland.
Slow slow service. Place packed.

Yep, it’s usually always better than the Northport location. A few times I’ve eaten at the Northport one and it’s been just as good, but rare.

Just give me a slab, plenty of Sunbeam with sauce, sweet tea and some banana pudding. They’ve gotten more expensive over the years but so has everything else. And they are some damn good ribs. Lucky to have them and the original Archibald’s so close by. Both are a little different, but both are in the top 1% of BBQ joints (for ribs)… IMO.

I took my dad to the one off of Jug factory road, he loved it but all he could say was ā€œribs and bread, no sides?ā€
When they expanded and started franchising......even Jug Factory Rd (in Jerusalem Heights) started serving sides. Typically on gameday they have a tent with tables out in the parking lot and you sit sort of pic nic style and just grab it and growl, so to speak.

Always get banana pudding.

Ireally like the sauce with chicken. Cook a lot of chicken at home...use dreamland sauce in beans...

There’s a chance 6 SEC teams could end up with 2 or less losses, if I’m not mistaken. So having only 2 losses is not necessarily a lock. Bama would be fine with only 2, given all our ranked wins, in my opinion. But I wouldn’t count on the committee putting 6 teams in from one conference if they faced that scenario.

Ole Miss and Vendy each win out, and they both would be 2 losses or less. Could happen.

Texas wins out, they have 2 losses. Not likely, but could happen.

Georgia loses to Texas (above) and beats Ga Tech, they have 2 losses. Not likely but could happen.

Bama wins out, they have 1 loss. Likely.

A&M loses to Texas (above), they have 1 loss. Could happen.

Bama and A&M or Ole Miss play in SECCG, loser has 2 losses, winner has 1.

if Oklahoma beats Bama, they could very easily win out and be a 7th SEC team with 2 losses or less.
Going into the Ole Miss and Georgia/Texas games, everyone has held serve today to have 7 SEC teams with 2 losses or less. The chances are very slim from the onset, but there’s still a chance to have that many. The committee would certainly leave 2-3 out of the dance. We’ll fall behind OU, Ole Miss, Georgia (or Texas) and A&M after tonight. So 2 losses doesn’t lock us in if we’re the 5th placed SEC in the CFP rankings. We should stay ahead of Vandy and whoever loses tonight.

Ole Miss held serve tonight so they are now guaranteed to have 2 losses or less.

Georgia pulling away from Texas which should eliminate Texas from conversations. Now just 6 SEC teams in the hunt to finish with 2 losses or less ahead of SECCG.

A&M - guaranteed to finish with 2 losses or less

Ole Miss - guaranteed to finish with 2 losses or less

Georgia - guaranteed to finish with 2 losses or less

OU - must beat Mizzou and LSU to finish with 2 losses

Bama - must beat Auburn and E. Illinois to have 2 losses

Vandy - must beat UK and UT to finish with 2 losses
