TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - No. 1 seed Alabama (52-7) will host its 13th Super Regional round at Rhoads Stadium this weekend, welcoming No. 16 seed LSU (40-17) for a best-of-three series beginning Friday, May 22 at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN2. Game two is set for a 2 p.m. CT first pitch on Saturday, May 23 on ESPN while a game time and TV designation for a potential game three on Sunday, May 24 will be determined later.
A few innings ago Michelle Smith went on a bit of a rant about TTU and their portal players. She was all over the coach saying, "no one is guaranteed a starting position."
All the while I'm thinking about Canaday getting a million last season when she transferred into TTU. Does "you're a starter" even come up?
Exactly. I've watched OU a few times this year. That pitching staff is definitely their weak point. Miss. St. had 13 hits. They haven't had that many hits in their last 8 to 10 games combined.
79 percent of the teams that win game one in the Supers go on to win the regional. When it comes to odds to make the WCWS, I wonder how change was made for OU in the last hour.
UGA down 0-2 to UT in game two. T6
UArk still down 2-3 to Duke...been in a delay for four hours or more.
